Steven Farley

Steven Farley is the son of the author of the popular and classicBlack Stallion series, Water Farley. He lives in Manhattan where he works as a freelance writer and travels frequently, especially to places where he can enjoy riding, diving and surfing.

As well as co-authoring The Young Black Stallion with his father - for the main Black Stallion series, Steven has written a number of books continuing the series, with further adventures shared by Alec and his horse. He has also written a spin-off series, Young Black Stallion, about a young girl, Danielle Conners, and a new black colt. This series also features Alec, but is centred on Danielle and her horse.
