Kristina Pérez is the author of the YA fantasy SWEET BLACK WAVES trilogy (Macmillan), a Tristan and Isolde retelling. She holds a PhD in Medieval Literature from the University of Cambridge and is also the author of the academic monograph, The Myth of Morgan La Fey. In addition, writing as K.K. Pérez, she is the author of The Tesla Legacy (Tor Teen).

She currently resides in London where she is the Managing Director of Pérez Literary & Entertainment.
