Rohan Gavin is an author and screenwriter based in London. He is a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and his enduring love of detective fiction, cars and conspiracy theories inspired him to write the Knightley & Son series.

Rohan is the son of award-winning children's author Jamila Gavin and is currently working on his third novel. He lives with his wife, Dido, and their son, Stanley, in London.

Author's Comment: Deductive reasoning is certainly a real skill and is something that good detectives rely on every day, even if they don't use a magnifying glass anymore. I wanted the Knightleys to be armed primarily with their minds, rather than relying on weapons.
