Trish Heully
Trish fell in love with children’s books as a school teacher in her home country of New Zealand. When she moved to the U.S., she returned to school to study illustration. Her work is populated by children, mice, bunnies, bugs—and bookmarks!— busy on their adventures. She works in both traditional and digital mediums, and particularly loves using watercolor. Trish’s talent and whimsical humor are perfect for early chapter books, as she captures expression and character in just a few pen strokes. Trish lives in southern California, close to her children and grandchildren.
